National Veterinary Technician Week 2020

October 11 - 17, 2020

Veterinary technicians/nurses are an integral, reliable, and knowledgeable part of any veterinary practice. As frequently they are the first point-of-contact to a pet and pet owner during a visit, veterinary technicians educate, comfort, and treat both pets and pet parents alike.

Nominate your Vet Tech Hero

We are seeking nominations for our Vet Tech Heroes Award. Ideal nominees would be a veterinary technician/nurse who has exhibited extraordinary dedication, compassion, or promotion towards animal health care. Covetrus will select three veterinary technicians/nurses to receive a $25 gift card to Starbucks and a commemorative certificate. The winners will also be interviewed and have their stories featured in our December Products and Promotions Guide.

Share your Tails!

We are also asking veterinary technicians/nurses to "Share Your Tails" by submitting their funniest story (rated PG!) that occurred while working in a veterinary practice. We will share these stories on on our website and social media during National Veterinary Technician Week. As an incentive to share, the first 500 people to submit a story will be able to choose a Vet Tech Slim Can Koozie or Vet Tech hat! Read some of your colleagues stories.
