Spryng™ with OsteoCushion™ Technology is an intra-articular injectable veterinary medical device that promotes restoration of proper joint mechanics by adding natural, viscosolid matrices to the joint’s synovial fluid. Spryng is composed of a protein-carbohydrate matrix made from purified, natural biomaterials using a proprietary, patented process.
Spryng is indicated for horses, dogs, and cats to aid in the management of noninfectious sources of joint pain including, but not limited to, degenerative joint disease, osteoarthritis, joint instability, and lameness.
- Durable, sterile, and hydrated biomaterial that mimics natural cartilage properties
- Engineered and designed to provide a bio-integrative scaffold in the affected joint
- A single treatment provides long-duration joint benefits
- The biocompatible dispersion of viscoelastic particles is composed of two purified proteins (collagen, elastin) and a purified carbohydrate (heparin glycan) that self-assemble to form a sterile, insoluble, and pliable matrix
- Achieves its intended purpose without pharmacologic, chemical, or metabolic action
- Available in two convenient presentations delivering a total of 2 mL of sterile product in pre-filled luer-lock syringes
- Multiple joints may be injected as part of the same procedure
- Storage: Up to a 26-month shelf life at room temperature (40?F to 90?F)
