The Covetrus breakfree™ is a breakaway IV connector installed between the long IV tubing from the pump and the patient’s IV catheter that separates if harmful forces are applied. This Covetrus exclusive is designed to eliminate the need for IV restarts in patients that are likely to remove an IV line. Create a one-time infusion process for your patients.
