Product Description

OphtHAvet™ Ophthalmic Ointment (0.4% Sodium Hyaluronate) is an isotonic, sterile veterinary ophthalmic lubricant delivered in a 5g tube that is indicated for use as a lubricant to prevent further irritation, or to relieve dryness of the eye.

  • Remains on ocular surface longer than low molecular weight hyaluronan
  • When eyes are open (at rest), OphtHAvet’s high viscosity helps reduce tear drainage and tear film break-up
  • Improves lubrication and tear film stability
  • Promotes corneal healing by helping to prevent corneal dehydration
  • Has undergone additional purification steps
  • Helps corneal cells survive osmotic stress
