Non-absorbable litter allows urine to settle into the plastic tray. The specialty non-absorbable beads are treated to prevent any adhering of voided urine and urine composition including proteins, red blood cells, crystals or other potentially diagnostic materials. The litter can be filtered permitting easy collection of a urine specimen.
