Excenel® RTU (ceftiofur hydrochloride) Sterile Suspension provides reliable results against swine bacterial pneumonia. Excenel RTU is a safe and effective antibiotic that is absorbed rapidly and reaches blood levels quickly. It offers a four-day preslaughter withdrawal, when administered according to label directions. It is a ready-to-use antibiotic that does not require reconstitution or refrigeration. Excenel RTU Sterile Suspension is approved for treatment and control of swine bacterial respiratory disease associated with Actinobacillus (Haemophilus) pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis and Streptococcus suis type 2.
