A flake that is sprinkled on wet or dry food and contains an extract of purified Ascophyllum nodosum, a seaweed. It works systemically to help reduce biofilm from sticking on teeth. The product is palatable to dogs and cats and is free of additives, preservatives, sugar, gluten, and is rich in natural iodine. In two Veterinary Oral Health Council approved clinical studies, Clenz-a-dent® ProDen PlaqueOff® was shown to effectively reduce the accumulation of tartar and plaque vs. control. www.VOHC.org It has also been shown to reduce bad breath.
