SPIROVAC® is for vaccination of healthy cattle four weeks of age or older, including those pregnant and/or lactating, for the prevention of infection by Leptospira borgpetersenii serovar hardjo-bovis, including reproductive and renal tract colonization, and urinary shedding for up to 12 months. Vaccination with SPIROVAC also aids in the prevention of fetal infection.

Spirovac VL5 Vaccine
SPIROVAC® VL5 is for vaccination of healthy cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers, over 4 weeks of age, as an aid in preventing disease caused by the above organisms. In addition, it is especially recommended to prevent establishment of L. hardjo in the kidney, and thus shedding in the urine, for at least 12 months. SPIROVAC VL5 also prevents the establishment of L. hardjo in the genital tract and aids in preventing infection of the fetus.

Spirovac L5 Vaccine
For beef cattle producers, SPIROVAC® L5 offers an inactivated vaccine option to help prevent disease caused by Leptospira (L. canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. icterohaemorrhagiae and L. pomona.) including L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo type hardjo-bovis. It is also recommended to prevent the colonization of L. hardjo in the kidney, and thus shedding in the urine, for at least 12 months.
