- Contains polyhexamethylene biguanide, resists bacterial colonization within dressing, reduces bacterial penetration through dressing
- Broad spectrum effectiveness provides protection against gram positive gram negative, fungi, yeast microorganisms (including MRSA and VRE); limits cross-contamination to and from patient, clinician and environment
- May be used as a primary or secondary dressing, hypoallergenic
