COVID-19 Closure Process

With the recent state-mandated shut downs, UPS is starting to see more closures. Whether holiday season or COVID-19, UPS Drivers sometimes make errors on who they deem closed when there are an over-abundance of overall closures.  If you are seeing packages delayed due to an inaccurate closure marking please reach out to your Covetrus North America representative.

Going forward, UPS will return packages to sender if the customer is closed for COVID-19 and not giving a reopen day that is within the next 9 business days.  We recommend that you sign your practice up for UPS My Choice for Business.  This gives your practice tracking on all UPS packages into your facility.  You can hold packages at a UPS Hub or change a delivery date if needed.
