Covetrus^® Maropitant Citrate Tablets are an antiemetic used to prevent acute vomiting and vomiting due to motion sickness in dogs. Veterinarians can use Maropitant Citrate Tablets to mitigate vomiting that may occur as a side effect of chemotherapy. Maropitant Citrate Tablets are a prescription drug for dogs only. It is available in four strengths: 16 mg, 24 mg, 60 mg, and 160 mg in both bottle packs (60’s) and blister packs (4’s). This product is an FDA-approved generic to the pioneer brand.
