The Vetmedin-CA1 launch is indicated for the delay of onset of congestive heart failure in dogs in stage B2 preclinical myxomatous mitral valve disease (2019 ACVIM Consensus Statement). The new Vetmedin-CA1 product will allow dogs to be treated earlier when they are asymptomatic. It can prolong the number of symptom-free days in dogs and helps dogs continue to engage in the daily activities they enjoy.
