It also promotes rapid wound closure. BioHAnce is a unique, crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) that has been specifically modified for the epidermal environment of dogs and cats. It creates a cellular matrix of modified HA that naturally enhances the animal’s own healing process, facilitates epithelial healing, and helps reduce scarring. The soothing gel provides a thin coating on the surface of the skin that helps protect the affected area while keeping the environment hydrated.
