Product Description

ELURA (capromorelin oral solution) is the first FDA approved product for management of weight loss in cats with chronic kidney disease. Capromorelin is a ghrelin receptor agonist known to increase appetite and weight gain and is approved as ENTYCE® for appetite stimulation in dogs.



Administer ELURA orally at a dose of 2 mg/kg (0.9 mg/lb) or 0.1 mL/kg (0.045 mL/lb) body weight once daily. ELURA should not be used in cats that have a hypersensitivity to capromorelin or in cats with hypersomatotropism (acromegaly).
