We know it is not enough simply to have the right equipment and a trained staff of veterinarians. A thoroughly trained team of technicians can turn your dental suite into a highly efficient patient treatment machine. This full day, hands-on lab will teach your technicians how to probe and chart their patient’s oral cavity and acquire diagnostic quality X-ray images so that your doctors can identify pathology and make treatment decisions quickly while the patient is under anesthesia. They will also be taught proper operation and maintenance of your dental equipment and instruments, helping to preserve your investment and the safety and comfort of your patients. Taught by one of our DTEN trainers, your veterinarian staff can also benefit from this training and will receive CE credit as well if they attend.

Training topics include: Preparation—including rinse, before and after photos, proper attire and safety, Execution—including tools, sub/supra gingival scaling, polishing, probing and charting, Instrument maintenance and care, Common pathology, Anatomy review and triadan numbering system, Probing technique, Hands-on practice of prep, scaling and polishing, probing and charting, and Nerve block training is available as an add-on to this course.
