The strength of BD Vialon™ makes it possible to manufacture a catheter with a finer, stronger, more reliable tip, giving it excellent penetration characteristics. The catheter is rigid before insertion but becomes soft inside the body. This unique feature adds to the biocompatibility of BD Vialon™ and results in a lower risk of complications. BD Insyte™ is a thin-walled catheter with a higher flow rate than other catheters of the same gauge.
