Product Description

PGCL Absorbable Suture is a sterile synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture, composed of poly(glycolide-co-caprolactone) (PGCL). PGCL sutures are available dyed with FD&C violet #2. PGCL suture meets all requirements established by the United States Pharmacopoeia (U.S.P.). PGA Absorbable Suture is indicated for use in soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissue, microsurgery, or ophthalmic surgery. This absorbable suture should not be used where extended approximation of tissue is required.
