Datamars Slim is a revolutionary, new, polymer microchip that doesn’t compromise read distance for needle gauge. The thin, 14 gauge (approx. 2 mm) needle allows for smooth, gentle implantation with minimal penetration force into most species at any life stage – from pocket pets to horses, from puppies and kittens to seniors. Datamars Slim is preloaded into our special, ergonomic, ‘No Return Click’ syringe for peace of mind that implantation has been performed correctly. Designed for one-handed use, it allows practitioners to use a natural approach and calm body language, leaving one hand free to calm the animal. Datamars Slim has the added benefit of a removable needle – once implantation is complete, separate the needle for easy sharps disposal with your veterinary waste; the remainder of the syringe body can be recycled.
