Product Description

PDO+ suture is prepared from the polyester, poly (p-dioxanone), and is available dyed (DandC violet No. 2). The empirical molecular formula of the polymer is (C4 H6 O3)X. Polydioxanone polymer has been found to be non-antigenic, nonpyrogenic and elicits only a slight tissue reaction during absorption. This antibacterial suture contains = 60 g/m of a common antimicrobial agent, chlorhexidine diacetate.
