In October of 2022, Covetrus completed its acquisition by funds affiliated with Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), and TPG. Following this transaction, Covetrus became a private company. Covetrus is headquartered in Portland, Maine with more than 5,700 employees serving over 100,000 customers around the globe.
